I am saddened by the number of girls I see drop out of my high school because they have to raise a baby. I see about a minimum of two new teen moms every year in my school alone, and nationally ⅓ of girls get pregnant before the age of 20, a sad but very true fact. I have no idea what is causing this sudden out break in teen pregnancy. Some may blame the music, but i do not believe this to be true at all. The songs may hint to things and have that kind of content, but i know none of my fellow class mates take it seriously. I don’t know what it is with my generation but someone needs to slap some sense into them before it goes back to women just not being allowed in school again because only a very few actually stay because they don’t have a baby. It scares me to think that if i have a daughter, that she may become on herself. I know I am a teen myself, but that dose not mean i can not clearly see what is happening to OUR society, someone needs to stop this, and maybe that someone could start with me.
